Skittles, M&M’s and Starbursts are some of my favorite and also are Official Sponsors of Super Bowl 50! We hope that this post inspires you to host a party of your own. We hosted our party in a gorgeous Darling model home.  Each floor plan is perfect for entertaining!

Tip 1: Choosing a color palette that includes both teams is a safe idea! We combined team colors and included them in our invitation and festive printable designs.

SuperbowlPartyDecor-3 Tip 2: Set up your snack station in an area that can be easily accessed by your guest during commercial breaks or the half-time show. We even renamed our station Concession Stand.

SuperbowlPartyDecor-19 Tip 3: Set up your concession stand with fun football  foods that you will typically find at a stadium. One of my favorite sections of the concession stand is our Sweet & Salty Tower. We used a galvanized tower that rotates and includes 3 tiers. The tiered design makes it super easy for guests to access and build their own treat bag. If you don’t have a rotating tower, you can still use the popcorn bags, and clear cups with the candy mix. Display popcorn in a bowl and add the scoop. If you are feeling festive and want to take it up a notch try the quick and simple recipe below.

MVP M&M POPCORN TREAT

Serves: 4-6, Prep Time: 15 Minutes Cook Time: 5 Minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 bag of mint M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
  • 11 ounces white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup of miniature marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup sprinkles
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 sheet of parchment paper
  • 1 baking sheet

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Use 1 sheet of parchment paper to line your baking sheet
  2. Pop 1/2 of popcorn.
  3. Melt white chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler over medium- low heat.
  4. Combine  M&M’s, popcorn, marshmallows, and sprinkles. Pour melted white chocolate over the top. Mix well.
  5. Spread the popcorn onto a prepared baking sheet and lightly sprinkle with sea salt. Allow chocolate to set and harden. This should take about 10 minutes. Break into pieces and serve to your party guests.

SuperbowlPartyDecor-58 Tip 4: Instruct your guests to work their way from the bottom up by grabbing a treat bag, filling it with popcorn, and topping it with delicious candies. The bottom layers should include snack boxes and popcorn.

SuperbowlPartyDecor-101 Tip 6: When it’s time for the big game, simply pick up your tower and move it to console table in your living room. You would not want your guests to miss that 20-yard run for the touchdown…right?

Using a portable snack station is such a great idea for game day! Using one of my favorite candies as game pieces is a win win. Who doesn’t love Bingo? A fun game that I get to eat too.
